• Day 1
Arrive Nairobi

Upon arrival in Nairobi, meet your representative and assisted with transfer to your hotel.
Journey this capital city, your gateway to a dramatic procession of natural spectacles and wildlife in Kenya and Tanzania, among the most thrilling, exotic destinations in the world.

• Day 2
Amboseli National Park

Begin your exploration with an overland journey to Kenya’s Amboseli National Park at the foot of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain and home of the nomadic, vibrantly dressed Masai tribe.
Join a safari briefing about the days ahead before you begin to explore the acacia woodland, freshwater swamps and open plains in search of wildlife.
This evening, join your fellow guests for a welcome dinner.

• Day 3
Amboseli National Park

The morning and afternoon game drives today, give you an opportunity to closely observe the lions, elephants, leopards, cheetahs and a prolific bird population.
View the beautiful mirages formed in the dried lakebed at the reserve. Prepare for predator sightings, as opportunistic animals begin roaming the plains in search of prey.

• Day 4
Lake Manyara National Park

Travel by road to Arusha, crossing the border of Tanzania and stopping at the colorful Mto wa Mbu market. We suggest you stay at Serena lodge, positioned 2,000 feet above the atmospheric Great Rift Valley and freshwater Lake Manyara.
Your lodge is a gateway to high-adventure sports, such as mountain biking, as well as a tranquil respite for guests who want nothing more than to unwind.

• Day 5
Ngorongoro Crater

This morning, embark on a game drive in Lake Manyara, a scenic gem, on a lookout for nonchalant baboons, large herds of buffalo and zebra, who gather on the grassy, sun-drenched plains. You may also choose to simply relax by the outdoor pool under African skies
This afternoon, enjoy your farm fresh lunch and proceed to explore the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site, an extinct volcano and the largest caldera in the world. The crater today is a bucolic sanctuary supporting a wide array of wildlife including lions, giraffes and the elusive black rhino.
Further, you may request for a culinary excursion in the hotel kitchen with a Chef’s Table demonstration, at which you prepare and sample local dishes. During the rest of the day experience one of the most inspiring outdoor arenas in all of Africa, boasting of its magnificent landscapes.

• Day 6
Ngorongoro Crater

Today, continue with your exploration of this vast land of animals, traversing the prairies for elephants while flamingos paint the shimmering water. You may even see the rare black rhino. Following a picnic near a pool where hippos gather
Afterward, visit a Masai village for insights on the daily life of the nomadic cattle-herders’. Also get the opportunity to experience their culture and witness a demonstration of traditional bead work.

• Day 7
Serengeti National Park

Begin to explore the Serengeti National Park, recently proclaimed a 7th worldwide wonder. During the journey take a privately guided tour of the Olduvai Gorge, home to many significant archaeological discoveries. En-route view a spectacular mix of savanna grassland and volcanic hills, before dropping steeply downward into the gorge.
Continue with a visit to the small museum, absorb views from the lookout point and examine the excavations, which revealed 3.7-million-year-old footsteps and the skull of a 1.8 million-year-old man.
Settle down in your accommodation, which offers commanding views of a true safari country. The park is also the setting of the Great Migration.

• Day 8
Serengeti National Park

This day, begin your search for the “Big Five” – lions, leopards, Cape buffalo, elephants and rhinos. Here you may witness wildebeests and zebras in abundance in search of fresh grass during the migration periods.
Also get the chance to view the lesser-known “Little Five” – including leopard tortoises and rhino beetles – along the rivers, plains and rocky outcroppings.

• Day 9
Masai Mara Game Reserve

Today, fly to the vast Masai Mara Game Reserve. Arrive at one of the best known and most popular reserves in the whole of Africa, rich in plains game and houses a prolific population of predators.
The unending landscape hosts some 400-500 bird species, 95 animal species and all of the great predators, including the country’s largest lion population.
After arrival, settle in your luxurious tented accommodations, ideally situated at the confluence of the Mara’s four game-viewing regions. Later, drive through the famed reserve to experience the wilderness.

• Day 10-11
Masai Mara Game Reserve

The next two days are for you to explore this wonderful region, bestowed with over 500 square miles of savannas, woodlands and rivers. Observe the wildlife as they amble out with wide, purposeful eyes as the sun begins to set.
Catch sight of crocodiles as they bask in the sun and ever-alert hippos wallow in muddy, cooling water. Enjoy viewing the antics of mischievous monkeys overhead. Take note of the massive African elephants rustling along the forest edge and graceful giraffes snatching leaves from branches high above.
One evening, enjoy the sunset with a Scenic Sundowner experience. Raise a toast with traditional cocktails, while marveling at the incredible atmosphere just before dusk. Celebrate the last night with a special farewell dinner.

• Day 12
Depart Nairobi

Today, you travel back to Nairobi, and take your flight back home.
